Avery is a lighting designer and assistant from St. Louis, MO and is passionate about activism in theater. Avery received a BFA in Lighting Design from Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts. Avery has worked with Stagedoor Manor on Into the Woods and a pilot production of Come From Away. Credits at Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts include Design: Our Town; Some assisting credits include: Our Dear Dead Drug Lord, Silence, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and Blood at the Root. For Webster University’s Department of Dance, Avery has designed BFA: Echoing Forward and assisted New Works: a BFA student choreographic concert. Avery has also worked with the Repertory Theatre St. Louis on It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play as well as the Olney Theatre Center on Disney Frozen The Musical as an assistant lighting designer.
